Replacement Glass Service
The glass is technically known as a “ Sealed unit ” and misting occurs when the seal around the perimeter of the unit becomes worn and breaks down allowing moist air into the cavity between the two panes of glass, this moist air then condensates on the inner side of the outer pane of glass. As it is impossible to wipe the condensation off from in between the glass sometimes the condensation will run down the glass and the glass will dry naturally. This leaves a watermark on the glass.
Once this process has happened several times the water stain becomes more apparent and it appears that the glass has “misted” up. The only suitable repair for this is to replace the sealed unit.
