Terms & Conditions

Logo / Mascot / Stationery / Promotional Material Design / General Graphic Design

Upon adopting our logo design services (upon payment) the client agrees that their full sum of payment covers designer working hours - this is inclusive of the brainstorming process. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that all our clients are 100% satisfied with our work, should a dispute arise, refund remains at our discretion and is determined by the time invested in the overall project and quantity of pieces of sample work presented. This term is in place to safeguard against lost working hours and concept theft.

Upon hiring our logo design services you accept that all work presented and finalized may be used by Webcore Design, it's divisions and associated designers to use across all forms of promotion media inclusive of (but not limited to): printed media, websites, Internet forums, logo / graphic design showcase websites and video hosting websites. Equally any testimonials provided in connection with a project may be used in the same way. These terms are exempt if an NDA agreement has been established prior to us commencing work.

The client agrees that if they request additional significantly different concept(s) to be presented during the revision process which are a creation of our own, they accept that the previous / current concept(s) are to be considered as rejected and they will be sold immediately as stock. The client cannot revert to rejected concepts unless the requested revision bears resemblance to the original which remains at our discretion. This term is in place to prevent abuse of the revision process to acquire ongoing additional artwork and / or concept theft.

The client agrees that specifics stated in the initial submitted brief (especially those that are revised) cannot be changed significantly without further financial charge being applied to the project. We ask that if a client has specific requirements, they are to be established as a concrete decision. This includes company names and trademarks which should be thoroughly researched pre-project.

We urge all clients to consult their printing company prior to committing to a stationery / flyer project in order to pass on print specifications to us since additional work or adjustment in the future may be chargeable. This is inclusive of CMYK and PMS colour systems. Our default colour system is CMYK.

Additional work resulting from failure to research or meet 3rd party protocol may be chargeable.

Website Design

Upon adopting our website design services (upon payment) the client agrees that their full sum of payment covers designer working hours - this is inclusive of the brainstorming process. Whilst we work on our website projects until the client is 100% satisfied, should conflicts arise, refund remains at our discretion and is determined by the time invested in the overall project and quantity of pieces of sample work presented. This term is in place to safeguard against lost working hours and concept theft.

During the development process the client is able to review work in progress on our servers. The final website is uploaded to the clients webspace upon agreement of project completion and payment of any outstanding monies. In the event that we need to work live on an application / script on a client server we reserve the right to install a killswitch script as a security measure to block a website until outstanding monies are received.

We take no responsibility for website errors resulting from 3rd party hosting companies, 3rd party scripts and payment providers or sub sequential loss of earnings resulting from such events. Additionally, we urge clients to store backup documents of uploaded data to safeguard against data loss in the event of website / database corruption.

The client agrees that once a website development is complete (after upload), support may come at further cost. 3rd party tampering of a website or website application may result in support termination.

Hosting

We make every effort to ensure that our servers and all associated email services remain fully operational - and our track record of uptime re-enforces this. However we may experience brief periods of downtime occasionally which is to be expected from any hosting company who have to rectify restarted servers and brief weather related power outages. Whilst these events are few and far between and usually result in no data loss we urge clients to keep copies of all website, database ad email data. Upon subscribing to our hosting services you agree that Webcore Design will not be held responsible for any data loss, loss of earnings and communication which may result from such an event.

If you require clarification for any of the terms stated above please do not hesitate to contact us.
